• Travel Budget: Employees traveling for zRetreats can spend up to $100/day/person on meal-related expenses with a Travel & Expense (T&E) Corporate Card on travel days only. These can be expensed with the expense code "Individual Travel Meals".
• zRetreat Meals: Throughout the zRetreat, there will be a mix of meals provided either in the office or formally scheduled by one of your leaders as well as those you will have the choice to enjoy on your own. You may only expense the meals you have been instructed to source on your own. • Local Attendees: If you live within 40 miles of the host location, each day you can:
• Expense daily public transportation and parking at the office.
• Use an Uber for Business account to travel to the office.
• Ride Share Guidelines: We value our employees’ safety above all and if you feel uncomfortable at early or late hours during the week, please use your best judgment when traveling to and from the office. Use Uber/Lyft for Business if safety is a concern.
• Hotel Expenses: When you check out of your hotel, get a copy of the hotel folio which is the receipt for your stay. If you forget, contact the hotel directly to share this via email.

Black Tech Night will be a celebration of Black success featuring a panel discussion from industry leaders, bites & beverages from That Brown Girl Cooks, music from top DJs, and shopping from Black-owned vendors.

There will be plenty of space for teams to work on their projects throughout the office, including a mix of focus areas and open or enclosed meeting spaces. Any rooms available in Outlook can be booked for HackWeek teams to work in. All rooms on floor 32 and 35, as well as dedicated zRetreat rooms (marked as restricted in Outlook), cannot be booked and are first come first served.
For those located within city limits, you should plan to use public transportation and can expense your commute to and from the office. If it’s not possible for you to commute via public transportation, you can also drive to the office, and expense daily parking in downtown Seattle. Local employees should not use Uber or other rideshare services as a means of transportation to and from HackWeek.
All attendees are required to follow ZG’s COVID-19 health and safety policy. While having a vaccination record on file is no longer required for in-person gatherings, all employees are prohibited from coming into the office or interacting in person with coworkers or other third parties on behalf of ZG if they are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19.
